30th April 2006

The morning started out pretty normal, I woke up with 5 minutes to eat and dress, and then I spilled half of a water bottle down my frontside so I looked like an elephant had spit up on me. But, ah, that is about par for the course.

After church we hung out at my parents, talked, did some sorting of piles of our childhood junk that Mom and Dad still managed to find somewhere. Was kind of fun to look through it, but even if I did keep some of it, I knew it was going to sit at our house too. But better at ours I guess so Mom and Dad can finally use that extra space and make us kids a jacuzzi room for when we come home.

The two families had lunch together, including the Nobles. Food was awesome, I about had a head rush over the stinkin pickles and brats my mom served, it was sad, no one else got second’s, I got fifthsies. Then, just the usual, talking, and then a family fun game or two of Sequence before we had to shove off. I called down to a contact to find out about some empty arcade cabinets that were being sold for some very affordable prices, but in the end, decided right now it made more sense to just go home then to drive a bit out of the way to check them out.

The trip home was long, especially that stretch right after Kokomo, but we finally made it home just after 10:15, and unloaded our feeding of the five thousand car which had tripled in load in the one day that we left. I answered some questions via email for some of my students and went to bed.
