Arcade Artwork
The artwork has always been the big draw for me in the classic games. The nostalgia of it, the bigger than life game, the bright colors, and the flat shapes of artwork that usually is highly simplified and are classic in design. I know a lot of collectors feel that same way, and will go to great lengths to preserve it.
This section of Rotheblog is dedicated to the artwork that I am either reproducing, collecting, or want to collect because it is rare and hasn’t been reproduced just yet. I hope to be the first for most of the pieces of arcade game art listed here. There are certain pieces of arcade artwork that I may not be able to find online in a vector format, so I am setting out to get photos, or some other means of getting them to a state where I can reproduce them.
The ones I am collecting for my own use I want to reproduce. The other ones that I don’t plan on reproducing are cool to have to then trade with other people for other arcade related items, so if you are interested in what I have here shoot me an email via my contact page and we might be able to work something out. But I don’t tend to give out anything for free since the work to vectorize any classic arcade game art is extensive.
Click on the name of the game to read about my pursuit about artwork for that game.
