Jeff,

I always found it more fun to explore ionpool, rather than having google, or another search engine index the whole thing for you. That's just me.

Based on my server logs, most search engines ignore robots.txt. Whether that data makes it into their public data feed is another question entirely.

Website isn't coming down anytime soon, not to worry. I've got a TON of material to add to the site - I may do a 'general' folder and let people explore even more.

Tom....wow, six months later...catching up.

I don't think I ever understood your comment. Were you basically saying that you specifically set your Ionpool website to not be indexed? But it is your belief that some bots ignore the robots.txt anyway and index away?

Hopefully the fact that you sold off that storage unit of stuff doesn't mean that your website will come down as well. If you are thinking about it I would obviously take it over.

It's more fun if you don't let Google do the work for you?
Robots.txt seems to be ignored by many indexers.
An asterix is easier to enter than multiple subdirectories.

Archer and Tom are pals. And, if you've never spoken with Tom you should, he's a very nice guy and extremely knowledgeable about some rare stuff out there. Archer spent a lot of time a while back working on repros but I think partially due to circumstances beyond his control he's not going to be touching any art for the foreseeable future.
