USAmusements Auction Video

Over the weekend at the fall USAmusements auction I took a little video showing a bit of the auction for those of you who aren’t familiar with how and arcade game auction works in Indianapolis. It’s short, and only shows the auctioneer selling some of the miscellaneous parts and coin-op equipment but gives you a little bit of an idea of the setting.

Yee Haw it’s auctionin’ time

Usually, the auctioneer you see in the blue shirt is the guy that does most of the auction in Indianapolis. Sometimes he switches with another guy when his voice gets tired. From here, they move onto the stuff in back of them and then usually up the first row of arcade games which you saw a glimpse of half way into this short video.

You won’t see it in this video, but in order to bid you will have to register. When you first come into the main Land Pavilion door, to your left are some tables. You can get a number and then when you bid, just like any auction, you hold up the number or nod, or some other visual cue that you are interested in the auction item.
