Today came early. I stayed up last night drawing until almost 1, but it felt good to do some penciling again, so I think it was worth it.
Today was class at Warren, teaching web design to the kids. I have been fortunate to find a new position that is flexible enough to let me continue to participate in giving back a little. We aren’t paid, but it gives me a little taste of teaching without having to do it full time.
Today was the first day that I did “differentiation”, and I worked with two girls in the class that expressed an interest in doing more of the graphics side of design then the coding for html. Girls after my own heart.
Tonight was also the first Tigers game against the Oakland A’s, so when I got home I did some different piddley stuff and then plopped down and watched the game until I fell asleep at around 11:00 or so. The Tigers did end up winning confidently, a good start to the series.
