Work continues on my blog site. It has been about three months now, and to see the light at the end of the tunnel is refreshing. My friend Chip Cullen and I agree that the personality traits of a designer are that of a ADD five year old. We think the time span of a project should never be more than a day, and are always looking for something new.

Today I got the design and a couple entries for the Photo Diary section taken care of. I also made a change to the Sidebar and Footer sections of the site. I was having some problems with the side bar having to have an absolute height specification for each page because of the limitations of CSS. But I read something at work yesterday in a free moment about what to do about that, and you can read about what I had to do in the CSS section.

Also, I broke apart my original “Thoughts” section into “About” and “Blog” with the dilemma of actually having a “Home” page. I decided that problem statement for this site should be it’s own section so it doesn’t get lost in what will prove to be a content heavy site.

It’s been three years today that all of America’s world was turned upside down, and although I was naive at the time to think it wouldn’t affect me, it has shaped my life and opinions in ways I didn’t think possible. So, take a moment, and remember those that have fallen on our soil and “theirs” so we aren’t naive enough to think it won’t ever happen again, but that it won’t happen ever again in our generation.
