Drumroll. Again. I got Vista loaded! Oh yeah.

I have seen screenshots of Microsoft’s new operating system and I thought it didn’t look that much better. But let me tell you, this takes the best of what Apple has done with their interface and pushes it to a new level visually and on the back end. I couldn’t stop drinking around with it until I had to go to bed. This week we were able to get into the Messenger Live Beta as well, so seeing Internet Explorer 7 and messenger in Vista brings a whole new depth visually to those programs as well.

I cannot wait for the final release! It is too bad that it is looking to be early 2007 now, but it definitely makes you want to start upgrading your system now to get the best performance possible. Supposedly it takes at least 800 MB of RAM just to run the OS. I am safe there, but way below par on the processor speed for sure if not my graphic card. Probably a good thing I have to wait, Vista is going to run me dry.

Oh, and on not such a small note, Christine came by and dropped off Lady, so we have our favorite puppy to have fun with for the next couple of days.
