A blog is like a chia pet from hell. You start it with the best intentions, and it grows and grows, and you can’t keep up anymore, and before you know it, your living room is full of grass and you are brining the chia pet and his friends wine and cheese.

Well, not so much. But in the back of my mind, is always my blog. I will read so much, or learn so much in a day, and the trick is to keep up with the site, and my movie watching, so that I get it down so other people can benefit from it before I forget.

I was going to write about IE 7.0 and Windows Vista, the next incarnation of windows, but haven’t gotten that finished yet.

Last Friday I hit it hard on the way home on my bike from work. I had a sustained speed of at least 22MPH for 1.5 miles, and hit a top speed of 31. When I left work the close said 6:10, and when I got home it said 6:28. So, even if the clocks are different, I may have come close to breaking 7 miles in 20 min.

We finally got lights for my office, they were a stinker to find. Little fluorescent, three of the four were burnt out. They were expensive too, so I think we may have to think about changing the light fixture.

Over the weekend Emily came down. She got here on Friday, and we kept it pretty low key with some monopoly and a movie. Saturday we were gone all day. We went to the Children’s Museum for the Norman Rockwell exhibit, and then to a birthday party after that and some shopping.

The last couple of days I have spent finally getting some things that have been bothering me ironed out. I haven’t had a working form page on either of my sites since I made the hosting transfer of Rothecreations back in May. I finally got my contact form working for this site, and a new format with more features on the Rothecreations site. That makes me feel a ton better, that people aren’t trying to contact me and getting and error message.

Sarah is entering her last week at Wheeler, possibly ever. She rode in with me today, and on Monday she actually took a ride to take back some stuff to the library.

Monday was me cutting the lawn, and tonight I had a PR meeting and the back lawn to mow. This also happened to be the first Tuesday in as long as I can remember that I didn’t care about not going to the cheap movies, there is nothing I want to see. We got a free printer from a friend, and I set that up for Sarah, now all she needs is a new print cartridge and that is one less thing I have to hear about. I also got to talk with Thomas Czinder, who is always positive about the stuff I post here. So enough with the junk and on to the posts.

Just to get back on the ball, it is going to be short tonight. Check back for hopefully much more tomorrow when all I have going on is Rockstar INXS.
