3rd January 2007

Today didn’t go exactly as I had planned.

In the morning I had the car washed with underbody, hoping to get rid of any Goose that was stuck under there.

I got home from the gym, added some music to the Zune, changed, and hit the road for the gym. Every day I have missed in while I was on break came back to slap me on the bike. I felt like lead, like I wasn’t going anywhere. My final stats weren’t too bad, but I knew I was just working out the gunk and tomorrow’s workout would be the start to getting rid of what I gained over break.

On the way home I called Justin and talked some electronics and arcade stuff. I ate and then made a couple of other calls to Christine and Brent, Glenn, and one to a former eSystems client as a follow up. After I showered it was about 9 pm already.

I went downstairs and replaced some of the foam insulation that is around our copper piping in the ceiling. Dad was kind enough to do the shopping while we were in Michigan, so all I had to do was put it in, and it was fairly easy. While I was working Sarah arrived back from her book study with Kate. They picked out a new book this week and met at Kate’s house.

After I was done with the ceiling, I did a major overhaul of my closet. I organized, threw out boxed, rolled things up, and sealed up some of my old artwork that was being trampled and I never looked at, as well as the drawer to Grandpa’s old desk and took them outside. I got the closet cleaned up so Sarah can use it to store more Christmas stuff from the guest room.

I moved the Pacman out of my room, and the Pengo out of the downstairs family room into a line in the guest room. That was a small compromise, Sarah wanted more space for her stuff, and so she gets the closet. We will need to try to install a non battery operated light in there this weekend with the electrician.

I also got all of the files I brought home organized off the flash drive, and got photos of New Years ready for upload in the morning.

All of this started originally because I had planned to move the Ms. Pacman out of the garage into the basement tonight. That didn’t happen, but hopefully tomorrow now that everything is prepared.
