Today Sarah had a Pampered Chef party at our house, so by 10:00 am our living room was full of ladies.

I ran an errand for the party, then hung out for awhile and talked to some people, Christine and her girls, as well as Kate, who stayed later after the party to chat.

Around 2:45 I headed out to go to the Southport library, which we just heard about for the first time today. I wanted to see if we could get some movies for a get together later on. The library itself isn’t too different, but they have self scanning stations that you scan the barcodes and put little sheets of paper with the due dates in your own pickings. Pretty cool. Since I was out down that way with some time, I stopped into a computer store that I had been curious about, and strangely enough, a small new comic book store that Sarah and I spotted two weeks ago. Both were highly disappointing.

When I got back, Sarah got in the car, and we headed up to Carmel to hang out with some of our friends that we probably haven’t seen in a year or so, the Buissons. Since we have seen them last, they have bought a beautiful home and among other things, have acquired a dog named Sadie that is a sweetheart. We just hung out, had some dinner, watched a movie, and just caught up in general. We got to watch a well known 20 minute skit called “Dinner for One” that the Germans apparently broadcast on TV every Christmas Eve. Extremely funny, about a older lady and her butler and a dinner party. John gave me some memory that works in my Mac that really pumped up the speed, so I was pretty geeked about that.

When I got home, I stayed up to watch another movie and so I could get some music and work on unwrapping some DVD’s as a favor to work.
