Super Bowl Colts Title

Today started out like any other Sunday, church in the morning with some socializing. Brent was in church today with Christine, which was cool and encouraging. I hope he had a good experience, and actually, Eric, who is good at welcoming usually, came up to him, introduced him and thanked him for coming.

Got home from church and had a quick lunch, and then I got to work. I had the church’s monthly updates to do and there was a ton like usual. I had to take a short half hour break at about 2:30 because Scott came over with his new 6 ft drill bit and helped me make the hole for the garage plug. But, that is what we did, make a bunch of holes without running any wire, and he had to get to work, so he left me his stuff in case I wanted to play with it later:) Yeah right.

The updates for the church stuff took me until after 4. Then I had some more of the freelance project I was working on to get at. That actually took me right up to game time.

Super Bowl! The Colts vs. The Bears, a hometown rivalry of sorts. I knew they would win, and I was hoping by a large margin so there was no question how good they were, I just knew they had to stop the punt return on The Bears. Well, what do you know, he returns the first kick for a touchdown and the Colts go down 7-0. The game wasn’t easy for the first half, there were some botches, dropped passes, a fudged extra point, and a missed extra point. But The Bears didn’t score and by the time halftime came around and it was 16-14, I knew we were going to win. In the end, 29-17 Colts, and Peyton Manning finally had his Super Bowl. We watched some of the after game, but not much.

I came down for a half hour more worth of work on the computer before I went to bed, I was exhausted, today flew by and so did the weekend for a change.
