I don’t feel nearly as bad now that the Colts lost to the Steelers, and only by 3 points. It is more of an indication that they were that much closer this year, that they would have won if they went. But the Steelers did 21-10 over the Seahawks, and we were watching it but having a ton of fun at a Super Bowl party.
Had church in the morning, and when we got back, we watched a movie from the library and I unwrapped some more DVD’s, and then I did some stuff on the computer. We headed over to the party and got there a touch early, around 5:45. The Raters were hosting the party, and they had the perfect setup for it. Four different sitting areas each with their own TV, with a huge 60″ CRT in the main room. They have this gorgeous old farmhouse that is just enormous smack in the small little downtown of Wannamaker.
It was a no kids party, and they had a pretty good turnout. I got to meet some new people that Sarah already kind of knew, and Kate and Wes were there, so that always makes for a fun time. Drinks, Darts, and a ton of laughing, probably the best Super Bowl party I’ve ever been to other than the ones we used to throw in college.
