5th March 2007
Today started early because I had an appointment at 2:30. I finally took the initiative to get something done I had been meaning to for awhile, get the huge hideous mole that was on the left side of my head in my hairline removed. It was pretty painless, a little slice and it was gone and I was on the way home. I didn’t even have a co-pay (knock on wood that is a good thing.)
As I was laying on the table getting my head sliced, I got two calls in the span of five seconds, the only two calls I got all day. One was Justin, and we talked some about the Space Invaders, the boards are sent off to be fixed, and about the possibility of him wanting this new cabinet I got over a week ago.
When I got home, the girls were hanging out, reading and doing homework etc. I did some things on the laptop, and then Sarah was home. She started making dinner, and I played about a million games of Blink with Amanda, winning most of them:) By the end though she was really a stinker and kept beating me, so it was probably good we stopped. I also got the girls to play Ms. Pac-man, which was the first time ever, pretty phenomenal but not out of the question knowing they are Sarah’s family.
We had a big dinner, cleaned up, and they hit the road. After they left, both Sarah and I had a sinking feeling. The original idea of the trip was to see our puppy, and it hit us again that we lost him. So, we decided it was finally time to look at photos, and choose some to get printed for home and work. We picked out about 8 that we would print in some fashion, and three that I would print on nice paper to frame. I then set out to do some graphical stuff on them, modifying the Kelloggs logo to work as a border on most of the photos and sizing them for printing tomorrow.
That took us to our show time, which we sat together and watched. Eventually Sarah got a couple of calls from Mary Kay and Rebecca, so she talked to them most of the rest of the night. We did get a chance to sit down together and work on our life journal of Kellogg on the blog, so I hope we continue to do that the next couple of nights.
Later, I had a client call I needed to take care of and Sarah headed off to bed. I then finished off the night working on some more arcade artwork.
