Christine came over early in the morning and dropped off Lady. We figured that they may want to spend a day together to get them that much more prepped for the next couple of weeks. We pretty much left for puppy class right after Christine came over.
Nokes did better this week at class, we practiced “Wait” as well as some more staying. We finally got a choke chain, which helps out a ton because the dog knows now that without the flat collar they can’t do anything they want.
Soon after we got home, I went to the gym for a hard workout, :30 on bike and :45 minutes lifting. I did just over 500 calories on the bike at 12 plus miles, so I was dead when I got home. Sarah had a terrible time with the dogs, Nokes was constantly at Lady, jumping, biting her ears, playing, and it didn’t stop. This went on all afternoon, literally, Nokes never stopped. Sarah was with them the most, and she wasn’t really feeling very good anyway, so it was a long day.
After I ate I worked on Megan’s website a little bit. I knew that the guy who won the Dig Dug auction was coming at about 3:00, so I got the game ready for him and to finally get out of our front room. Just about that time the Styf’s called and wanted to come over. I was curious as to why, but we soon found out.
The guy came at the exact time they did, so I didn’t get the first run down on their brand new Mitsubishi Outlander. Nice SUV, nice speakers, cool new features like keyless start, motion based locking, blue tooth enabled calling through the car, as well as foldable seats, a nice stereo in Rockford Fosfate and some multi media jacks to use DVD players and MP3. Pretty nice deal, and it felt roomy and cushy too.
They ended up hanging out for a bit, having some dinner with us and whatnot. Jeff and I played some games, and the girls chatted.
After they left around 8 we just hung out. I worked some more, and we just relaxed for the rest of the night.
