General Questions

  1. Q: I am considering building a reproduction pacman standup. I have had trouble finding the side artwork. Would you have the Pac-man one? Are they a stick on type of material? What is the cost? IF you do not offer this item, any idea where I may find it?
    • All licensed Pac-man, Ms. Pac-man and Galaga Vinyl sticker / decal sideart – artwork can be purchased at Two Bits. On Pac-man games, this is not authentic as the original artwork was stenciled, but it can be a quicker solution nonetheless. Cost as of this writing (2010) is around $300 for a set of the two sides and kickplate. Not cheap, but not cheap to print either. Be careful with them, Two Bits artwork is notoriously inaccurate and their customer service abhorrent.
  2. Q: I’m inquiring about the Ms Pacman Stencil Kit. I have a mint original upright that has been in my home since 1991. Unfortunately as they all do, violet, yellow are washed out. I’m trying to keep it as original as possible. Is it possible to just stencil the yellow and violet areas or would I run into an alignment problem with the rest of the original cabinet art. Thank you
    • Its possible, but I would suggest hand cutting your own stencil and doing it that way. Each Ms. Pac-man cabinet has the potential to be slightly different in its artwork alignment. If you cut the stencil files at a local shop, there is no doubt in my mind that they wouldn’t quite align with your actual cabinet artwork. There is a website out there where a guy re-stenciled Ms. Pac-man artwork by hand, using tape and vellum. I can also think of a similar instance where someone made home made stencils for their Super Pac-man.
