Custom Space Invaders Video Shake Fix

Space Invaders Shaking Video Tutorial

Recently my Space Invaders started to show signs of the crappy Amp edge connector problem. Poor contact between the connector and the Space Invaders pcb causes the video to randomly shake, wave, wiggle or whatever you’d like to call it. For awhile I was able to solve the problem with a Fonz like rap on the side of the cabinet, but as time went on the problem became more pronounced until it was always there when the game was powered on. I was determined to fix the video display problem so here is my custom & reversible connector fix.

Anthony Pietrak of QuarterArcade.com just completed a bulk buy from a newly discovered warehouse of classic arcade games. This photo is a teaser of what lies within, nearly 100 games in all, the largest buy he has ever made.

Mappy cocktail artwork

Jeff Waldron was nice enough to save and give me some artwork he had laying around from a Mappy cocktail. I like Mappy quite a bit, (thank you Jakks TV Games) and enjoy the artwork so it is nice to have the cocktail glass underlay as well as two control panel overlays saved in case anyone ever wants to make reproductions or just needs scans for any reason. New Arcade Keychains Designs

Brian finished some new arcade keychain designs, adding them to the existing Dig Dug, Zookeeper and Centipede. In the previous post I mentioned the Centipede keychain, but now we actually get to see photos as well as the new Joust and Robotron keychains.
