Oversize films at This Old Game

As I have gotten to know Rich over the past 6-9 months I have gotten to know a lot about his business and how the production moves from the initial interest of a reproduction artwork project down to the final physical pieces. Sending out films for production that are considered oversize can add a little bit of time to a project. Well, Rich recently got a doozie of a deal that is going to make his capabilities to print full size arcade sideart much easier.

Pac-Mania in Brazil Indiana?

At first glance, I thought that there was an original Pac-Mania for sale on Craigslist really close to me here in Indianapolis. If I wanted, for just $200 and an hour drive to Brazil I could pick this game up. But the listing made me look twice and laugh a little at the sellers naivety.

Mr. Do! Instructions Vector Progress 1

Ever seen a set of Ms. Pac-man Stencils?

I was lucky enough a number of weeks back to acquire a set of Ms. Pac-man stencils from a private collector for a good price. Surprise surprise, they were waiting for me when I returned from Toronto this past weekend. These vinyl stencils are based off of Joymonkey’s (Paul Murphy) Ms. Pac-man .pdf file that was released to Local Arcade a number of months back.

I don’t remember the exact price Paul was offering to make these stencils for people, but it was at his cost hoping to attract a little less attention from the copyright police. But even at cost, a set of stencils to redo the artwork on a Ms. Pac-man cabinet is very expensive, and now you’ll see why.

New Arcade WordPress Theme – RGVAC

Been waiting for this to drop, furiously tapping my leg. But tonight Brian updated his RGVAC arcade game website with a brand new theme that I designed. I was really happy with the way the layout turned out, it uses pieces of artwork from some of his favorite games.

Purchasing a multicade in Indianapolis Indiana

If you love classic arcade games, but only have limited space a ‘multicade’ as they are called may be the perfect item for you. The general term Multicade is used when talking about an arcade game that runs several dozen games through a select menu. As a result, you will probably end up paying more for one of these machines. I can try to point you in the right direction if you are looking to purchase a Multicade somewhere here in Indiana.
