Small lot of arcade cabinets for sale

I’ve been in contact on and off with an individual in the area that has a small cache of arcade cabinets for sale. They moved out of the area, so coordinating with them has been difficult over the past two years. But I finally got some photos of what empty cabinets they have, four in total and three of them are Midway cabinets that were probably Pac-mans or Galagas at one time.

NOS Cheyenne sold on eBay – $190

After being involved with the Exidy Cheyenne sideart project for about five minutes, I tend to take notice of artwork for the arcade game when it becomes available. Last week on eBay someone listed a NOS piece of Cheyenne side artwork as well as a control panel overlay (Auction No. 140247294909). Sunday was the final day for bidding and final price came in at $190!

Agent X / Cloak & Dagger Kickplate Artwork Film Updates

Got a nice surprise sitting in my email when I got in last night to check. Rich just got the films back for the Agent X kickplate artwork for the complete package he is printing for Rick Ford. It was tremendous to see a final printed piece of arcade artwork in the Professor Pacman control panels, but to see this artwork is even more exciting.

Stern’s The Dark Knight Pinball Photo

I was looking for a post on RGP (Pinball Newsgroup) today, and came across a link to Pinball Sales and a photo of the new Dark Knight pinball that Stern is releasing to coincide with the movie starring Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhart being released next week! Here’s the photo showing the Batman and Joker themed artwork on the cabinet. (more…)

New Resource – List of Willis Control Panel Overlay Artwork with Photos

When I was visiting Chris Moore over the weekend on my trip to pick up my Universal Mr. Do! in Chicago I was messaged by another collector who posted on RGVAC looking for a photo of a Willis Galaga overlay. Another collector has listed a bunch of parts and artwork on ebay, and he was wanting to check on the condition of the Willis overlay vs. another original.

I got to thinking about how ironic that was. Here I was, sitting at the one collector’s house that I know of that actually has a phenomenal collection of Willis artwork, and someone messages me looking for a comprehensive list of all of the artwork every produced. So, I snapped off some images and complied my own photo gallery list of Willis reproduction control panel overlays. (more…)

Universal Mr. Do! is finally mine!

It was a crazy week, an exam and two papers and then the July 4th holiday weekend and a fun time with family. But at the end, I knew that I would be traveling to finally pick up my own, original, Universal Mr. Do! arcade game. (more…)
